Skin "tuning" suggestions

Still haven't received my mohair skins yet. I will report back when I finally get to try them out. In the meantime, I used polar on the entire base of the S112 and used 65mm EZ skins on steep and deep. The grip was just ok. The grip was not good in the packed down skin track...had to break my own trail. The temp was -8F today. The snow was dry and deep (bottomless in some areas).

Edit: Jan 28. Finally got the 35mm EZ skins. They appear to be 100% mohair. they are really thin! I will try them out on Thursday on the S112. It is supposed to be 10-15F.
