More good exercises in here, will work on the jumping into stance today. Too bad got a late start, had to start a venison stew this morning while getting the stove and hut up to temp.

This is a wonderful film, I've not seen it in years, thanks for posting it and the following one narrated by J Denver. Both were made for the beginnings of the Tenth Mountain Division Hut Association, in Aspen. The first huts built in the system are featured here, "Margy's Hut" and the "McNamara Hut". Buck and Holly Elliot of Crooked Creek Ski Touring, Dick Jackson, and others in the film were instrumental in pushing for the establishment of the hut system, and were/are great skiers as well. I knew a few of the folks in this film, but have not seen them in ages.
Btw, everyone in the film, and the next one, is skiing in leather boots and on skis most of you would consider to be very skinny, with at most 10-15 mm of sidecut, and 3 pin bindings.

Great info, thanks for replying. I am fascinated by history no matter what my endeavor, so these sorts of films and the info you provided are great! I need to find more.
