LC, I seriously doubt it. You surely need a size 42/42.5 in Andrews....just like me (263mm). Its such a bummer receivingboots that don't fit. Such a pain to try and try to make em fit. By the way, even the older Garmont tour in size 41.5 (8.5US) did not fit me, BUT the Arkos (Andrew) Greenland in 8UK/8.5US fits me like a glove. Keep looking, fingers crossed.

Yeah I know they are too small for me!
Man those are something.
I have a special thing for Andrew boots- they make the finest logging/tree worker boots in the world- as well as 75mm Nordic boots!!

I bet you those boots would cost $700CAN by the time you got them landed- if one ordered them brand new...

Surely but the bigger problem is that you may have to order 40 pairs just to get that 1!

Cannatonic is very impressed with his Andrews Rifugios. I would go that route if I did not already have a zillions pairs of boots. :?

now that I know my size in Andrew I'm lusting after these - probably can't get them without being in Europe - someday I have to visit Montebelluna & have my feet measured - looks like they give you an option of symaptex or leather-lined on the inside:

interesting.....you could still order direct from Andrew in 2014 - they stopped shipping to North American sometime around 2015-2016

>>>Hi Mr.MF
I had my feet measured at an outdoor shoe shop who told me my foot size
I then contacted Andrew via e-mail telling, them my foot size and that I would like a wide fitting and they said OK and sent their bank details to do a bank transfer. Price list is on their website.

There's a good chance that I'll be in that area next summer and I'm considering just that if it's worthwhile. Did you know that Alico and Andrew are practically neighbors?

Canna,

Why not contact these guys to see if they can help...they have 4 models in stock for woodsmen:

If it works out, I could easily send them out to you if required...

By the way Andrew has very recently updated their "contact us" page inviting online order once again. I had sent them en email a couple months back without an answer though. :(

yes - I had a trip planned there a couple years ago & had to cancel due to health reasons, I got my frequent-flier miles back though, I still have enough for 1st class! Supposedly Andrew will measure your feet & make custom boots for no extra charge. I sure wish they'd start mailing the boots again. It's a complicated trip to get to Montebelluna.

The Alico shop must be busy, didn't the US military order 2500 pairs of Ski March?

Hey I found this - excellent "blue" vintage of waxless Glittertind for $179, all lengths available at Akers - up to 205cm
