Holy old mother f'ck! Those are beautiful.
I wonder if I can possibly make them work...Wow those are something.

This is the World Famous TelemarkTalk / TelemarkTips / Telemark Francais Forum, by far the most dynamic telemark and backcountry skiing discussion board on the world wide web since 1998. East, West, North, South, Canada, US or Europe, Backcountry or not.

LC, I seriously doubt it. You surely need a size 42/42.5 in Andrews....just like me (263mm). Its such a bummer receivingboots that don't fit. Such a pain to try and try to make em fit. By the way, even the older Garmont tour in size 41.5 (8.5US) did not fit me, BUT the Arkos (Andrew) Greenland in 8UK/8.5US fits me like a glove. Keep looking, fingers crossed.lilcliffy wrote:Holy old mother f'ck! Those are beautiful.

Surely but the bigger problem is that you may have to order 40 pairs just to get that 1!lilcliffy wrote: I bet you those boots would cost $700CAN by the time you got them landed- if one ordered them brand new...
There's a good chance that I'll be in that area next summer and I'm considering just that if it's worthwhile. Did you know that Alico and Andrew are practically neighbors?Cannatonic wrote:someday I have to visit Montebelluna & have my feet measured
Canna,Cannatonic wrote:now that I know my size in Andrew I'm lusting after these - probably can't get them without being in Europe - someday I have to visit Montebelluna & have my feet measured - looks like they give you an option of symaptex or leather-lined on the inside:

yes - I had a trip planned there a couple years ago & had to cancel due to health reasons, I got my frequent-flier miles back though, I still have enough for 1st class! Supposedly Andrew will measure your feet & make custom boots for no extra charge. I sure wish they'd start mailing the boots again. It's a complicated trip to get to Montebelluna.Buda wrote: There's a good chance that I'll be in that area next summer and I'm considering just that if it's worthwhile.
