PUMPED for the new Otto Sverdrups! The dork level is getting high around this house right now and it's not even August 15 yet!

Well, it seems that you finally decides to keep the Mountain Tour 51 in your catalog or is that an error? I thought you were not supposed to offer it anymore? Also, there is the old picture of the Nosi76 in the English website.

No big deals of course as I won’t buy any skis this year  but that does not mean I can’t do window shopping :D

It's been a step-by-step process updating the webpage. So it has been continuous development and multiple changes done each day. If you have a look at the website today, you'll see that the Nosi 76 is updated with new pictures and information. You'll also see that the MT 51 is taken down from the website, unfortunately.

But, as we remove the MT51 from our lineup, we're working on an exciting new project and a brand new line of potential skis to replace the whole MT and MR range. In a season or two, there will be a major development in that category of skis! Stay tunes.

The new Rabb 68 is in stock on sportalbert

would love to hear some reviews and comments this winter. I believe the old Rabb was not that impressive. Maybe the new one will be an all arounder? the 68mm waist is a good width. Hopefully turns well like the ft62, but better on variable snow than the ft62 ever was.

Thanks for that link. Sport Albert has new stock up. Not so much in North America, but at least I can start comparing prices here, between the Nansen and Otto Sverdrup. The OS are just 2.5% more expensive. I'm still undecided between them, for skiing in Ontario and Québec. Seems like people find the Nansen to do everything well, but excel nowhere; the OS should kick and glide better (camber)?

That's what they are going for, I think. The only point of concern is the "soft/flexible" tips, which would make them kind of useless for breaking trail in crusty snow.

Thanks. Crusty snow isn't much of an Eastern North American thing, IME. YMMV out West.

Well, it's definitely a specialty in New England! You are lucky up north, mate.

Maybe I'm talking out of my ass about crust... I'm much more experienced in northern Southern Ontario (that sounds ridiculous, but it means north of Toronto, south of Sudbury, west of Ottawa). Most of my skiing has been in forests, as nothing's above the trees here, but lakes. Do your lakes get crusty? Ours would then too. Maybe the Nansen are the ticket...
