The Rovtop velcro cinch straps are no longer available from Amazon. These straps look similar, but I have not purchased them so I can't speak for the quality. A few of the reviews said the plastic was not strong enough for their use.

It was fun to make the emergency binding, but I think it would be just as easy to quickly cob together a boot attachment with 3 voile straps and a hose clamp. That is what I've always carried in the past and I still carry them in my emergency kit as my emergency binding would not work with my switchback setup.
Spare tire for Xplore binding?
