Today, onX is promoting low angle terrain -- preferred for its
solitude.
And with tech support to help you find it.
I hope the crowds don't show up at my secret spots!
Semi-rant over. Life goes on (for now).

I’ve been finding that lowangle has been the way to go this season. Big climbs are taking more than usual out of me and steep descents are still problematic as I can’t get that left leg to fully cooperate. The FSR roads I’ve taken to cruising this season provide just the right amount of ups n’ downs with current conditions being ideal for The Green Man and some nice opportunities for a more sweeping turn.

Me too, haha. I could be the poster boy of the low angle. I was a proponent ten years before I logged on the internet as LOA in about 2004. There's a lot of fun to be had on terrain where you don't need skins and the snow can't kill ya. Low angle doesn't mean slow angle.

It’s pretty cool to see onX talking about this. There is so much low angle terrain out there - plenty to go around I’d say.
This season I’ve had more close calls with out of control snowboarders by a wide margin than all my previous seasons on skis combined. One weekend exploring untracked glade runs next to xc tracks has me thinking about canceling my epic pass and finding more of those untracked green/blue runs just over the horizon
