Awe-inspiring stuff LJ.

The fact that you are riding these with your Alaska NNNBC setup makes me seriously question why I would bother going as far as the Kom or the Vector to replace my aged Guide-3pc kit...

I happen to have a NNNBC-Magnum sitting on my shelf, lonely and wanting to be mounted on something special...

How did you mount NNNBC on the Objective? :?:

The skiing is beautiful LJ, however the photos are art. Where do I get my copy of the Photo Annual? Do not worry about the demise of GAS, between you and Lilcliffy I have enough GAS for two skiers. Not only to I have GAS, but I am coming down with a case of snow envy. At least I can ease the snow envy with a short ride north.

I think all of you should just get it over with- move to the REAL North Country. Our flag has a nice red leaf on it. We'll let you keep your original identity and citizenship too- as well as let you become one of us!

With our current political climate as well as the actual climate, this increasingly sounds like a good idea.

The last Christmas I spent in QC with my wife Rebecca (2011), snow came late to the Laurentians. We were in a cafe in Quebec City on Christmas Day- before leaving for a day ski tour at Parc Jaques Cartier. The chatter in the Cafe was centred around the lack of snow and the potential implications of global warming on the snow season. Many people were suggesting moving Quebec at least as far north as Saguenay if this kept up!

I give them 9/10. They would get a perfect ten if it wasn't for the flaccid tips... 8-)

To be honest, it didn't really stop my gear-acquisition-syndrome. In fact, I still keep dreaming about a skinnier version of the Objective... Same construction, but with the Epoch/10th Mountain dimensions. The Subjective?

I mounted them with Magnums... 2-3cm back of Voile's recommendation...

If Southern Quebec wasn't the best place to live, we wouldn't be here...!

Hey! What about a TelemarkTalk calendar? Please post more pictures...!
And we could ask our girlfriends to pose too? 8-)

How does this relate to balance point on the ski? Is Voile's recommendation based on CRS?

I give the interior hills of NB a close second! :D

Pretty sure it's like an Alpine ski - which is apparently boot center at the center of the sidecut radius. Voile (or any ski designer) may tune that mark to their particular flex balance and sidecut design.

Moving back a cm or two puts you closer to BOF at center of the sidecut radius, but not quite. It's more of a compromise between lead foot and rear foot.
