And, which wax do you consider soft and hard? Red is certainly soft, but eg. Violet Special?
In the Swix line my personal dividing line is "Blue" in the V-Line-
I use a separate cork for anything softer.
Cross-country AND down-hill skiing in the backcountry.
Unashamed to be a "cross-country type" and love skiing down-hill.
