I’m pretty sure I should have bought the 205cm, since I’m right at the top end of the weight chart, and well above the height chart for the 200s, so am selling.

$370 + Shipping (expect about $65).

Can also include new Rottefella NNN BC Manual Bindings for an additional $50.

If you don’t include the Manuals with the ski, I would like them.

“The new Sverdrup set has been in the works for some time. While the Nansen and Cecilie skis are really forgiving and easy to turn, they have had a limited XC-performance and have probably been too soft for many individuals.
It's basically a redesigned Nansen/Cecilie, with a better wax pocket, more stiffness underfoot, and a camber more like the Børge Ousland BC and Gamme 54 BC skis. On the other hand, we wanted it to be as playful (or even more) as the Nansen/Cecilie skis, so we added more sidecut, a generous Nordic Rocker (similar as in Børge and Ingstad), as well as Taper.

The changes we made, are basically something the market (and you) have been asking for. And now the time was right to introduce this new model with the added benefits. The Sverdrup with even more playful than the Nansen/Cecilie, turns easier and has way better XC-performance. You may call it a downscaled Ingstad/Falketind with more camber and flex if you like. Or at least, something along those lines.”

thanks for the update, Stephen. its 45F today at sealevel...the snow is just turning into water and draining into the ocean! Up high, its been snowing 6inch overnight at 25F-28F but with 30mph-40mph winds. thanks, Alaska.

So, not sure when this will let up. I hope to get out there on monday. Would like to test the Sverdrup on any condition the mountains will give but also dont want to slide off the road getting there.

@jyw5, just to clarify, I was quoting Crister’s post from March of 2021.
I think more thoughts are still coming in.
@lilcliffy has been skiing it a fair bit I think, and @Woodserson is supposed to be getting them in 200 and 205 SOON, so hopefully we will get more data points (plus whatever you post).

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this ski.
Would not if it was my only touring ski (as I don't have hero snow to ski on all the time)-
But when the conditions are right- it is THE Nordic touring ski for hilly/steep terrain.

Are the no-wax?

@lowangle al, they are wax base.
I don’t think Asnes makes the Sverdrup in no-wax.
