Tamarack Peak - South Slope - 1/14/2016

Went up solo today and skied the south slope of Tamarack Peak today to keep it safe. The snow on this aspect in the trees is deep, cold, hero snow with no PWL (it is the normal wind blown at top). It was good to get out and get some climbing and easy turns in today. The main Tamarack parking lot was almost full (on a Thursday!), but I only saw one other skier when I got to the top. I parked at the Third Creek trailhead. Peeking into Hourglass, I saw saplings still poking through, and no slide activity.
