Rossignol BC68CL? (waxable base)- cheaper version of the E-99...think they are even made in the same factory but with a cheaper base? Great ski- great value.
Is the BC68 available in the states? I've never seen it here.

Also not sure about those Atomics and 3 pin bindings - they might want a normal NNN binding. Even the Voss are narrow, but I know they'll work as others on the forum have them mounted up that way.

Good question about the BC68 in the US- not sure...

I have examined them in the shop many times alongside the E-99- they seem almost identical to the E-99. I seem to have some memory of someone (Ben?) mentioning that they were made in the same factory?

With the weakness of the $CAN- there are some awesome deals for US customers in Canada. Only a couple of years ago it was the other way round!

The waxable base means the Rossi BC68 a ski-non-grata here in the USofA. Unfortunate. You are right, there are some killer deals in Canada!

A nice tour in CO on a pair of Nansens. This helped pass the time.

I would go with Glittertind, I've handled them in the shop and they seemed nicely built. I like the blue color - looks like some are still around the on-line retailers. Would be a good complement to the Epochs, the Glittertind would be like an XC ski in comparison, but can still handle some downhill turning. I would go longer for faster glide and better flotation in powder and crust…205 or 210.

Watched this one a year or more ago...beautiful stuff..the stuff of dreams. That dry confifer forest and terrain reminds me of the plateau in the the BC interior.

Yeah that trail isn't exactly AT worthy... but maybe they were headed up to a big mountain. It is CO afterall.

I've never been out west. Would love to go... actually to BC and the Canadian Rockies though. Maybe a little Northern Idaho and Montana :o
