I got bored on the lift. I like the idea of building leg strength on the uphills while touring, that helps technique too. It may take longer to get to Expertville, but I'm enjoying the trip.
Those old Karhus sound great - we need a picture. It is difficult to find a wider ski today without accepting a big sidecut. I guess the Sbounds are closest, but no waxing version.
