There is very small corner in New Hampshire that has good, new, soft, nice, snow. I went yesterday and today because I'm not passing up these kind of opportunities. bmike-VT, hows the west side of Mansfield, do you know? Teardrop, etc?

You gotta get it when the gettins good. Even up here, with rain, warmth and wind events being more common these days it can and does go to shit real quick.

And nice pictures too. Those are big mountains by anyone's standards.

Beautiful area and photos. I have one question, is that an abandoned ski area? If that is a forest service road they need to cut some like those in the National forest in the northern part of my state!

It's the Sherburne Ski Trail descending from Hermit Lake/Tuckerman Ravine to the bottom of Pinkham Notch. About 1,900' of descent. It's great this time of year because it's not giant VW Bug sized bumps and it's relatively quiet. Come springtime... Anyway, a nice ski.
