the good news is that the roads in the pic are service roads, so the only trucks up there are maintenance workers. they drive up in the morning to work on the lifts, etc then all drive down at 4pm. I time my runs so that I am on the way down before 3:30, that way if I get hurt and can't walk, I can get a ride down. they do scare the crap out of me sometimes because I play music on headphones and often don't know they are right behind me until they are like 10ft away. the drivers are good natured and drive slowly passed. I think they are all used to seeing the "crazy guy" running out there now

made it from Big Sky to Laramie,WY today. had to go around Yellowstone because the West gates were closed due to fires. the town of West Yellowstone was jammed at 8am because no one could get into the park. more fires 50 miles west of Laramie. I wasn't able to take pics, but there were plenty of smoke.

before and after. I'm not saying that Omaha isn't a great city, but the view is not the same from my hotel window

Went flying yesterday with my buddy in his cessna. Looked at some routes we did and checked out some new possible routes. Can't wait to get back on skis in 3 wks.

1 Eklutna Glacier, Peril Peak
2 Blackstone Bay/Glacier
3 Knik Glacier, Mt. Marcus Baker (L), Mt Goode (R)

well I almost made it home after 3500 miles and countless states. 380 miles from home, I down shifted off the turnpike and the clutch pedal stuck to the floor. prob a clutch slave or master cylinder issue. car just got loaded up to go to a local specialist.

Skiing new snow in September!
Lower Spire Saddle, AK
I had to hike 4000ft vertical but it was worth it.
S112, NNN BC, Alfa Quest Core

Try this on your FT62...

Nice.

Is it silly to ask:
On that day, how do you think the FT62s would have been, in comparison to the 112s?
Not as good edging, carving?
Just curious.
