T.I.T. Cups: The Indestructible Toe Cups for NTN!
So after breaking 11 NTN bindings, I thought it was time for me to go back to 75mm. But I might stay for a while, thanks to The Indestructible Toe Cups! Handmade here in Montreal by Bri7 in his office while he should be working, they have beefed-up sides to prevent cracking. Those titanium-reinforced double sidewalls are truly indestructible. Only available here on Telemark Talk for 770$ Euros. Limited-edition first run of only one pair. Real tele skiers wear pink!

Pretty funny! I hope it is pretty solid too...
I didn't know Bri7 was such an artist and a handy man! BTW, what's that ski? Also I see an arrow on the side of the ski which seems to indicate boot center. Do you usually mount your bindings further aft of BC? I for myself prefer boot center on center mark. But it is no science, just a matter of pref... I guess someone who skis a lot in powdery snow prefer the aft position...

Bri7 can do anything. In fact, I think he's secretly working on his own NTN binding...! Maybe you could get hired there Mike and start working on new bindings too... ; )
Rod, just to be clear, I NEVER ski powder on NTN!!! Pins and leathers only! But for icy days at the resort, there's nothing like the Freerides... This is an old pair of Volkl P9s... Straight planks from the 80's... I broke my SL skis last month and I just broke my GS skis last week... And I, I'm totally broke too... So I thought I would mount the freerides on whatever I have left... And the pink P9s were perfect for those pink T.I.T.s... ; )
You're right, the arrow indicates actual chord center. BUT, it's written "Bootip" next to the arrow. And that was the way the alpine bindings were mounted too. Boot tip at CC. Sounded weird to me too, but I guess that was the way to go with those planks back then. I mount my NTNs at boot center, but I mount all my NN old-shcool pin line at CC.
Bri7, did I say thank you?

Wow they look better in pink than just plain I'm taking orders!
Johnny your right, I've been thinking about a new binding, but I doubt it's going to be ntn...
Mike, in have every type of equipement at work, lathe, mill, welder, plasma cutter, etc... Feel free to drop your resume for a mechanic job You might be over qualified for the job. Anyway we offer 7 weeks of vacation so you have plenty of time to ski. Since i "work" for the goverment (can't really say i'm working) i have time to work on side project like the TITs The episode of The young and the restless were nit that good a few weeks ago so I decided to work on Johnny's toe cuo.

Ok let me see... Let's say you take 2 weeks in the summer with your wife... That leaves you 5 weeks in the winter... In the case you would ski every single day during your holidays, that would mean ONLY 35 DAYS of skiing?!?Anyway we offer 7 weeks of vacation so you have plenty of time to ski.
QUIT THAT JOB!!!!!!!
(And start you own telemark gear company...! ; )
