Their clearance selection also features nice prices on s bound 98s (short), rossignol BC 80s and Alpina Alaskas.

I did buy some fancy carbon bc poles from that curated sale. I’ve just been using old bamboo poles with new grips lately. We will see if I care about the difference.

If I could try them on I’d be tempted as Alpina has traditionally felt tight on me (with the exception of the Pi Tech).

The Alaska is tight on me, but I have older NNNBC Alpina boots that are super comfortable on my wide feet.

Alaska were initially super tight on me and crowded my feet, to the point I wanted to size up, but I really prefer an athletic fit. It took a lot of messing around with wearing them around the house with no footbeds and then half footbeds and then skiing them a bunch in pain until finally they turned into perfect xcd slippers and I love them now. Going through the same process currently with some la sportiva approach shoes and hoping for the same results. Looking for ultra thin performance foot beds
