Fat skis are so 2005... Skinny is the new cool... The skinnier the better!

My dial up won't bring up what you put up......but some of the best parts of the Olympics was cc skiing....doing 40= MPH on like one inch skis was seriously exciting.....We have been consistent in our love of slicers....when we need float we get on longer slicers....Teleking and Telewheels just got some 10th M division 87 tipped skis...bit on the wide side but for 44$ each including shipping the boys did good....Mount them up with pins and away they go...slicers and at 190 length floaters too...The e109's did well yesterday on 2-3 inches of very cold powder on breakable crust...with 30-40 inches of base....real nice ride....TM

Ahahaha!
Ok ok, our hills are not as big as yours... But remember, it's not size that matters TeleKrausen... 8-)

The truth is, we are way too good of skiers here... In fact we are SO good that now we need to find more challenging stuff... Like doing everything you guys do... on skinnies. Whatever you westcoasters do on fat skis and 4-buckle boots, we do it on pins and leather shoes... :D

Well i can honestly see the truth to that.
I've been considering taking the bd02s off my karhu xcds and putting some pins on there. The xcd thing is actually a ton of fun to me so far.

I think I might have a spare pair of 3p bindings...

Hey Brissette, that's your size right? A bit expensive but we don't see big boots for sale very often...

Great vid! Since I don't own any skate skis, but only classic no-wax, I keep picturing those guys doing 180s and landing switch having their wax/fish-scales bite into the snow! Oh, the humanity!
