Re: Sbounds...leathers
14 inches with every branch and limb holding @ 6-8 inches. White world with lite powder on top and heavier stuff down below. Great stuff! My trip was a mile in on a very easy main logging road. Saw telekings track and he went up on a ridge and scored some wonderful turns even if I didn't see them. I...

Woulda coulda and shoulda wiped it off but who cares when breaking. Quiet out there and Dead Moose Pond is cove...

Re: Sbounds...leathers
Decent low angle 6-7 inches of heavy on the bottom and light on the top powder. Good for conditioning. Will hit the Highlands for some easy logging road skiing with 4-5 hundred verts. Good start. TM

Re: Sbounds...leathers
last couple of days been skiing my back yard with @ 4 inches. Didn't even get any grass leavings which shows how heavy the snow is. Felt great making those rounded turns. Sunday hunting ends and off we go to the highlands. TM

Re: Does nordic camber make a difference in deep snow?
In order to go up you need wax, bones or something to cruise. On the down you want breakaway speed to initiate anything you do. Double camber allows the ski to "cruise" efficiently. In other words, less drag as the camber allows the glide part of the ski to fly. My two cents! TM

Re: Sbounds...leathers
Really nice sun rise this morning. Other day while watching Boots long drive bounding along an undulating fairway a dark shadow flew over the trees behind us and swooped down and followed the contours and "beaked the ball" and the black apparition flew off with a golf ball in its mouth. Man, it's gr...

Re: Sbounds...leathers
Three inches of wet snow which allowed for some easy turns in October. Like that!. Wonder if Teleking shot some over at his house. Suspect he did. Yeah. Telekid might have done some too. Will see! TM
