Re: The Fifty First State

I’ll bring some more refreshments from Fernie Brewing, poutine, and maple syrup for your pantry. Once you’re ‘Merican its gonna be tougher for you to access them.

If the border drones use the same tech as Cybertruck I’m not too concerned.

F’ing excited about those duty n’ tariff free Hypervectors 😁

Re: Ski choice advice for snowmobile tracks

If they’re icy or glazed stay out of them. Broke an ankle several years ago when I had a runaway on a mild slope that had a sudden turn at the bottom. Couldn’t get out of the track due to icy/hard snow at the sides.

Re: XCD skis on hardpack at the resort

I could see the First Gen Falketind working for someone as light as Johnny, was a bad idea for a 210+ guy to try.

Re: XCD skis on hardpack at the resort

Fisheater- I can’t remember if you had the first gen Falketind or not? If so is the Falketind Xplore stiffer than the 1stGen? Seem to remember reading that somewhere. I had one but simply couldn’t use it, banana’d constantly on me (it was a 188). In hindsight I expected too much from it, I think it ...

Ever contemplate a lurk for situations like that? Its a different kind of skiing but its worked for me using skinnier skis on sketchy terrain
