Grabbed an Xplore binding and boot and goofed around with what ifs…the hole centers for Xplore and Transit are both apart 26 mm apart width wise. Pin center of Xplore using the Transits rear mount is 24(ish) mm behind Transit pin center. ...

I put a Transit on my Koms yesterday and went out with the new Scarpa TXPro for awhile. Despite the ice crusted snow (tained yesterday) the combination felt pretty good, looking forward to trying them out in better conditions.

Find myself wondering if at some point in the future other binding manufacturers create Xplore spec bindings that might be burlier/lighter/possible other options such as pin adjustability fore/aft. Guess it would have to wait until the Rottefella patent runs out…maybe Rottefella might look at option...

Seriously envious of that snow Gareth- I’ve got that 270 Metsa and soooo want to experience it in insanely deep snow.
