Re: Voile ski sizing for skier over 6’ and 200 pounds
Woods I thought about the V6s, but ultras I'm thinking of getting need to be my main K&G ski too. I assume the ultras will tour better than the V6, do they? I have some Voile Insanes and some Charger BCs for deep days or tree skiing but when the chargers wear out I think the V6 BC will replace it, ...

Re: Voile Objective BC- good grip, not a full review but thoughts
I have nothing but good things to say about this ski in almost all conditions under 6-8" of fresh. Anything more and I would like a longer length. Also, it's so light it tends to get batted around a bit in chunder. After much deep though, I think an Objective with a little more weight in a 183 or 1...

Re: Voile ski sizing for skier over 6’ and 200 pounds
I think you are at the high end of the weight range for the 177 but I'm sure they'd work. I have the 177 hypers and they ski pretty much like the original 170 vectors which seem short for your size. I think I'm going to replace my 170 vectors with the longer version of the Ultravector. so what I'm ...

Re: Voile ski sizing for skier over 6’ and 200 pounds
Get the V6 instead of the Vector More forgiving, easier to turn, more float for deep snow. A dream machine. The Ultravector is more of a do-it-all tool. It's fantastic ski, but are you going to be needing the stiffness and support of this ski, in steep icy couloirs? Since you want deep snow perform...

Voile ski sizing for skier over 6’ and 200 pounds
Could not find a clearer title for this thread ;) I am looking for opinions on the choice of Voile skis length. I have the longer Objectives 178 Cm but they do feel short and I need a pretty steep slope to enjoy them in deep snow. Does anyone know how they compare in term of float ability with 177 H...

Re: FS: 195cm Asnes Ingstad WAX used
I'm 6'5", and I just can't shake the feeling that 195 would be too short for me, but I keep coming back to this listing. It's either these skis or wax eon 62s in a 205; thoughts? From my own experience I think you will find the 195 to be short. I first got the 195 but could get the 205 as a warrant...

Re: FT62 196
The real question for Martin is, since it is longer, is the 196 stiffer? Does it offer better deep snow touring performance? So Martin, I guess all we can hope for is that you get a big dump of soft powder. That way you will be able to answer. Cheers! Hey Fish, I finally can give you an answer abou...

Re: FS : FT62 172 cm
Hard to find FT62 (it seems even not available from SportsAlbert right now) Used about 5 times on great conditions not prone to scratching skis and no easily visible esthetic damage. Mounted with Voile 3 pin but prefer to sell unmounted PM me for price and for pictures. I did not set a price for th...
