Asnes MR 48 Bindings

Hi folks, I have a new pair of Asnes Mountain Race 48 waxable skis arriving and need to decide on a binding. Side note for Canadians: mail order from Norseman in Calgary, all done by email, excellent service, shipping $40 to Toronto. On the bindings: it is either NNN-BC Manual or Rottefella NNN Xcel...

Re: Asnes sales, North America?

I think they have really embraced alpine touring equipment and have created a lot of uphill trails, so they'd be open to xcD I think. Re: Asnes sales, North America?

That's what I have, Borge and Falketind and I'm in Toronto, though I mostly ski in Quebec during vacations. Great combo, Borges does Gatineau Park in tracks and off-piste. Falketind is my light fun telemark ski that I mostly use on my local park hill in Toronto for yoyo-ing, though I've used it in ...

Re: Favorite daypack for half-day trips?

Another pack I use when I'm out for longer is the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Summit Pack. Basically a rolltop climbing rucksack made of Dyneema. Slim and streamlined, durable and waterproof. About 30L or so. Very basic but just right for carrying more stuff. I would use this for more mountain oriented ...

Re: Favorite daypack for half-day trips?

Ultimate Direction packs/vests, any of them. For skiing I like the Fastpack 15. Yeti double walled stainless water bottles of cold, sometimes running bottles in the vest front pockets if not too cold. Love having the vest style with various utility pockets on the front shoulder straps. Sent from my ...
