Re: Has anyone heard new news of a meidjo with cage toe/resort oriented?

Yep I've been using the outlaw x since leaving meidjo. The binding is a bit more powerful and definitely has a tighter interface. The tele feel isn't as good as meidjo which felt similar to 75mm; but it skis leaps and bounds better than the god awful rottefella ntn bindings. However I disagree about...

Has anyone heard new news of a meidjo with cage toe/resort oriented?

Basically the title I remember some years back seeing some sketches/prototype blueprint type drawings online of a meijdo with an NTN cage toe instead of the tech pins I would still love to see this. I loved the feel of meidjo bindings, and the releaseability. But have had to give them up for work sk...

Asnes gamme vs transnordic 66

Heya, So im looking for a replacement/update to my ~30 year old dead noodle Waxless E99s. ive narrowed my search down to the transnordic 66 or asnes gamme. Im a tall heavy dude at 6'2" 225lbs. And want a do it all, turntable XCd/light tele ski that can handle the catskills backcountry/logging roads ...

Old E99 seems to have lost pop and stiffness. What should I replace them with?

So my E99s are ooold. I bought them used a few years back. I was lighter when I bought them at 200ish lbs. I'm now 225ish. Anyway I took them out for my first ski of the season and they seemed to be dragging a bit on the glide. Compressing the double camber too much I think? Idk if its the age of th...

Let's talk poles

In hopeful anticipation that the northeast will get some snow to XC ski on, I need to get new poles. When it comes to quality gear (especially on proform) I typically am not too concerned with cost. -HOWEVER- I have a crazy habit of losing or breaking every pair of ski poles I've ever owned. I've dr...

Re: Telemark Quick Swap Plates

OMG. I LOVE this.

I have 2 sets of meidjos now since switching to NTN. Id love the ability to switch them to more skis, and especially my old rock skis.

Amazing bindings. But for $500+ they ought to be able to move around more easy

Any info on these S-bounds?

Was just perusing Ebay and saw these s-bounds. But I can't find any info on them. The seller claims they are 2022 model, but thats obviously not true, seems like they got them from an auction. Just been thinking about getting a more groomed trail/track oriented ski than my E99 and ingstads The sidec...

Re: Broke my kneecap on Monday, think ill be ready to ski in November?

I looking forward to the hard work and learning new things!

And ill be on a tele set up. I sold my alpine gear when I took up tele, never once looked back.

I may like doing alpine turns here and there because I want to, but I almost can't imagine having my heels locked down ever again
