I prefer the S-98 for Showshoe Rut of Death trails, as compared to a Asnes USGi or E-99. They are fun on lots of other trails too.

You might try finding a Black Diamond dealer in your area that sells skis / bindings, and see if they have an old jig for the Skyhoy. Then have them mount them.

It depends on if you have the 125, or the 145, like mine. The Tao is 165 and has a little more glide due to the longer black lengths. It would be a big improvement over the 125. I’ve had some Black Diamond Traverse poles in 155cm for 5 yrs, no problems. The new style lower grip is different from mine. Mine is a separate section. I like being able to extend the pole out to 150cm on the flats or climbing, then shorten them down to 135cm for decending.
