Incredible ankle pain in one boot only
Hey All, I'm wondering if anyone has thoughts about what might be causing the frankly severe ankle pain in one of my very un-broken-in Alico Ski March boots. The other boot is completely perfect. Perhaps you've experienced something similar before. The pain is on the anterior aspect of my left media...

Seeking Resources for Mounting Rottefella Super Tele
Come along with me. Let me spin you a yarn. Imagine the year is 2020 and there's severe pandemic. Imagine you are at high risk of contracting The Plague because of weak primary immunity. Your partner, who you live with, has a chronic kidney disease, putting her at high risk as well. In that situatio...

Global News (Canada) - Cross-country ski boom: Supplies dwindle as equipment flies off shelves
I don't think I've ever been part of a fad this big but I guess most of these people aren't going to be mounting their own bindings, or skiing with climbing equipment on their backs...

Re: Sorry for Spam: Fischer Traverse 78 Sizing Question
Yeah this is amazing input! I really appreciate it. My height is 180cm, and I don't plan on carrying much more than the essentials, so I was thinking of going with the 179. However, it sounds like it doesn't offer much of an advantage over 189, and the 189 will make the flat tours on rail trails wit...

Re: Sorry for Spam: Fischer Traverse 78 Sizing Question
Thanks for the replies, all. :) Woods - I just realized you live in NH. I'm in MA but plan on skiing mostly in the North Country and the NEK. What's a good all-rounder for up there? Wax seems like a PITA to me and I'm thinking of using the skis on forest service roads, snowed-in rail trails, and hik...

Sorry for Spam: Fischer Traverse 78 Sizing Question
Hey all, Thinking of pulling the trigger on some Traverse 78s (from Telemark Pyrenees - is that place legit?) to go with some Alico Ski March boots but I am not quite sure what the recommended length is for me, a 155-160 lb human. Cant find any literature that's not in German. I'll mostly be on fire...
