Update:
Got the Voile 3 pin cable traverse in the mail yesterday -
Instructions say mount the riser to ski w/ glue/epoxy.
Do not use glue/epoxy on the 3 screws holding the binding to the riser.

Re: 2017 Scarpa T4
^ Great update. I picked up a used pair of old T3's last season and would echo everything you've said. Perfectly capable BC boot for turning in pow and corn. I regularly ski mine on 5-10 mile tours seeking out turns. Though the pair I got doesn't fit my feet well (1 shell size bigger than I prefer, ...

Re: Binding Screw Glue
Figured I'd ask this here: Regarding mounting Voile 3 pin bindings to a Voile riser I have in my quiver (and I see this often too) Voile 3 pin bindings mounted to a voile riser, mounted to the ski. You use the riser cause it has 4 screws for stronger mount. The binding screws in on top. My question ...

Re: Wide and waxless.
Similar skis to the Objective bc are the Madshus annum, Fischer s bounds 125, Rossingnol BC 120. I believe the Objective is or at least was previously the most downhill oriented of skis fitting these dimensions, these other skis have a more traditional nordic camber & flex, though this may have chan...

Considerations when purchasing new old stock leather 75mm boots?
Hey everyone, There's a pair of new old stock Arkos on eBay in my wife's size for $50 shipped. Pretty awesome. She has a pair now which she enjoys more and more. Her's are starting to show their age though, and its always good to have another pair of boots. I've seen a fair amount of NOS leather tel...

Re: Cottonwood Butte T.R.
Thanks Fisheater. My wife ended up quitting that job after 8 months or so after finding a better opportunity for the time being. Ultimately we ended up moving back near where we previously lived/worked in CO, no complaints on that front, got a good thing going now. This trip was a highlight of that ...

Cottonwood Butte T.R.
Cottonwood Butte Trip Report Cottonwood, ID February 2019 Just before the start of the 18/19 ski season my wife and I relocated to Idaho. Our motives were (1). A rare job opportunity for myself and (2). An attempt to escape the increasing challenges of living in a major ski town. I had a great job o...

Re: Pats Peak ends friendliest uphill policy in NH
Ya that sounded like a real good thing. Sorry to hear about the end of it. Etiquette seems to be pretty lacking these days. Ignorance on the other hand... I threw down $40.00 for two uphill passes at steamboat yesterday (wife & I). Uphill access allowed only outside of operating hours. A tough pill ...
