Re: Value of k2 super stinx???

I think it depends how much you want the bindings, because they are worth more than the ski. The skis have inserts which is a plus for me. If you want that binding as much as the ski I would offer 150.00. If I were selling that setup I'd be happy with 150.00. I just remembered reading your post tha...

Nice pics, Al and Mt Jaegermeister is looking good, too.

Good snow is where you find it. Looks like you made that most of it.

Re: Value of k2 super stinx???

I found these on Facebook marketplace for $250, unsure of the bindings. It's near my home. I am interested in resort skis, nothing too intense. Right now I have sbound 98 on nnnbc alpina Alaska, and scarpa t2s with no skis to match yet! Thanks! First, I would think there are much better options for...

Very nice. Wish I didn't buy a pair last winter at retail. Great ski. Lots of fun, especially in tight spots

Re: Which angle for sharpening sides? old Fischer Outtabounds 98 + Boundless88

Does anybody know which angle should be used for sharpening the sides of these skis? -Fischer S-bound Outtabounds 98 (i.e. predecessor of S-bound 98, probably from early 2000s) -Fischer Boundless 88 (i.e. predecessor of current Excursion 88, also probably 15-20 years old) Straight edge 90 degrees? ...

Re: Advice for telemark skis on hardpacck

Got a pair of K2 way back 88s as a dedicated East Coast resorts ski and have no regrets. That was after seeing a lot of advice here and scouring reviews. The K2s turn quick and our great all mountain ski. Another ski I'd be interested in is the Elan RipStik 88. The Elan has a tighter turning radius,...

Re: Did not regret going XCD over splitboard or AT this year!

I'm not that familiar with NNNBC boots. Is it this type of boot? I'm impressed that you like it for the resort, too. Like my T4s for the resort, but never considered this. Ski it up!

Re: Helmet and Kneepads

When I used to wear knee pads I used the Black Diamond telekneesis https://www.blackdiamondequipment.com/en_US/product/telekneesis-kneepads/ They are comfortable and effective and not too bulky. I now use them mainly for when I take the snowmobile out for exploring for new ski terrain. They really ...
