Re: FS: Garmont Excursion sz 28 NOS with original tags never skied
Possibly interested. What size shoe do you typically wear? I’m a 10-10.5 and not sure how Garmont sizing is.

Re: Andrew Rifugio to come! In many sizes
Hey guys, I talked to Emmanuel from Novafor in Blainville Qc... They are the distributor for Andrew Boots; they are going to order some Rifugio in different sizes... Capture d’écran, le 2023-01-11 à 10.01.26.png I'll let you know when they are going to receive it. Isn't it cool? Any updates from No...

Re: Seeking vintage leather wisdom- help me choose between these boots.
I have the BRE and find them roomy in the forefoot and even sized down from my normal boot size to take up some volume. Even sized down I still double sock for a snug fit. For reference Scarpa hiking boots fit me well; the Alaska XP boots I tried were too narrow in the forefoot but too wide in the h...

Re: Andrew Rifugio to come! In many sizes
Very cool they’ll be carrying the Rifugios. I had reached out last year to them and never heard back. Thanks for getting the ball rolling!

Re: Updated Alico Ski March
I’m using the plain ol voile mountaineer binding. Been clicking it to the middle position which is snug but I didn’t have to force them closed. I attributed the crack to me not flexing the sole in the right spot (at the end of the toes instead of at the ball of the foot) because the March sole is so...

Re: Updated Alico Ski March
If your boot outsole cracked at the pin line, I'd guess the 3 pin bail might've been too snug and pinched the toe. Using a ltwt cable binding instead of pins might still allow you to use the boots, if the midsole is not cracked. Fwiw, the older model Norwegian welted ASMB is still available on flea...

Re: Updated Alico Ski March
It reminds me of the UK surplus boot I have. I would believe it’s a quality boot, other than that it’s just a guess. If I was spending that kind of money, I would look at an Alaska or a Crispi Antarctic which is a Norwegian welted boot that is available from Fey Brothers in New Hampshire, at a simi...
