I have a couple pairs of destroyed X-skins. Saved them if I ever wanted to try refurbishing them, but never have the time. I can send these to you for shipping cost

Re: Fischer Traverse Boots for Xplore Binding
What is your weather like in Finland right now? At my friend's farm in Trondelag his snow level went from 120 to 50 in three weeks time. Winter had a slow start... took until late January for any significant snow. In the north ofc much more. I think it will be quite stable now, but I am aware of th...

Re: Review: Altai KOM 174cm
Snatched a pair for -70% in 174 cm length, having read these reviews. Only thing is the boot/binding combo I am wondering what to do with. Folks here typically use the Altai/OAC skinbased style "skis" for shuffling around on daytrips with the universal bindings, with little to no control. Recently s...

Re: Xplore Roller skiing bindings broken
I wonder what would make the plastic crack like that? The metal socket should be taking all the force? Cold, sideways pressure from the boot twisting sideways, ice buildup causing a wedge to pressure the plastic, …? Good that it doesn’t compromise the core functionality of the binding (should not s...

Re: Xplore Roller skiing bindings broken
Happy new year! To kick 2025 off it's time to get rid of some 2022 bindings. Just noticed a crack on the nylon cover near the pin step in. Does make it quite hard to kick the pins in, but does not affect skiing
This pair of bindings has only seen 200 km of skiing

Re: Åsnes NOSI 76 Ski Review
What good fun stenu ! Great to see new folks on the forum I actually just ordered the Nosi Xplore in 180cm. Have the Rabb 180 as well and have had 188 Falketind. Re: Xplore Binding Failure - Any Fix or Utter Doom?
Alfa Outback Xplore is brand new for this season. Might be an issue with the pins again (bad batch of Rottefella soles) or just too little grease. Or stupidly freezing conditions. I have skied 3000 km on XP boots and none had this issue more than once. It just froze in ideal conditions. Pushed it in...

Re: Swix tradition leather basket
Mine look exactly as pictured and screw on, then "float" as blitzskier said. They came with Swix Mountain Touring and Mountain Extreme poles and I also ordered spares. These are their backcountry ski poles and have a circular tip, not sharp and pointy like a XC race pole. Huh, that's odd. My basket...

Re: Wow, nice one
@randoskier Yes I went through Umbukta! Got there in the evening 3 minutes before reception closing, took a serious sprint. Longest day that far about 65 km, with a resupply in Tyin. I waited 7 days in Abisko alone for new ski boots that the courier would just not deliver... took a train to Kiruna ...
