Re: Weigh In
Agree with you—this is such a great time to check in on fitness and maybe even hop on the scales if you're feeling up to it. Skiing can push you to your limits, especially if you've been hitting the slopes in the Rockies. It’s easy to forget how much energy you’re burning out there, so staying on to...

Re: Airlines and skis
and well, I’ve had to wait a couple of days for mine before, which is a nightmare if you’re on a tight schedule. These days, I always book longer layovers if I’m flying with oversize luggage. Learned that the hard way. Honestly, splurging on travel business class when I’ve got a lot of gear has been...

Re: leg strength exercises
I’ve been focused on my legs for a while now, especially after I had a few weak moments when running. I started incorporating lunges, squats, and step-ups into my routine, and wow, the results have been incredible. I’ve also messed around with leg presses—they’re easy on the joints but still get the...

Re: Mountain/Ski Food
Even on such trips, I do not forget about sports supplements (although I used to sin about it). It's important for everyone who does sports, isn't it? For multi-day trips, especially when you need lightweight yet nutritious food, I’ve found that powder coconut milk is a game-changer. It packs easily...

Re: leg strength exercises
I’ve found a good balance of weight training and calisthenics really works. I focus on compound lifts like squats and lunges, and I mix in some mobility work with yoga to keep my joints flexible. I've also incorporated resistance band exercises to target stabilizer muscles around my knees. As for st...

Re: FS: Marker padded ski bag
Unfortunately, I noticed your post too late. Tell me, please, do you still sell this ski bag? I want to find a suitable cover for my skis for a good price. I have already bought suitable equipment for hiking in the mountains. I even found such a backpack https://www.amazon.com/Mato-Hash-Drawstring-P...
