Re: Outcast vs Meidjo, my thoughts with far too little experience

Were both sets of skis tuned the same way?
Did you borrow them off someone else.
I have had a similar situation skiing a mates identical skis with Freerides and the way he tunes them basically hook and grab for me.

Re: Åsnes NOSI 76 Ski Review

I had an unmounted pair of 172 Nosi's I picked up from an end of clearance sale. Would have preferred 180s. I had Meidjo's still in the box and placed them on the skis to see how they looked? There was overhang....so ended up mounting with 3 pin mountaineers on a Voile riser plate which as everyone...

Re: GAS Symptom: All around telemark ski?

I second the Voile Ultra Vectors. Such a all around ski. Poppy and fun, holds an edge really well and handles powder up to a foot deep no worries (Thats the deepest I have skied it in).

Re: Super Athletes Make It Look Easy

Great vid thanks for that Brings back lots of memories. That was the vid that got me into XC skiing. The way he does his P turns is interesting They are as Steve Barnett in His classic book "Cross Country Downhill" describes as Open turns which confused a lot of People so much so he dropped that cha...

Re: Decoding various size # on T4 boots

My Root Beer T3s say size 9 and they are a Bees Dick shorter than my TXs and T2Xs.
They too have the sewn liner.
I quite often put my T2Xs liner in the T3s ....better leverage from the tongue.
Do your Crispi Liners fit?

Re: Decoding various size # on T4 boots

Scarpa breaks on the half size. A 28.0 shell can accomodate a 27.5 and 28.0 liner. (My size as well) If you need bigger you will have to go to a 29.0 Take the liner out of the boot and push your foot until your toes touch the toe cap of the boot. You should now have a gap between your heel and the b...
