Ni review J. 42 sound small for you? Is the sizing right or would have you preferred the 43?

Re: Light & agile tele: SB with the new transnordic leather?

Binding wise, they seem somehwat stuck between two chairs; They're compatible with Switchback, but not designed for Switchback-style steep turns. They're not compatible with 3-pin (allegedly), but ideal for 3-pin style K&G over varied terrain. Indeed, it makes the most sense if you transport a heav...

Re: Light & agile tele: SB with the new transnordic leather?

TheMusher & co., Some extra thoughts about the Lundhags. I'd like to emphasize that the sole used on the Lundhags is the same as found on ALL other thermomolded 75mm VIBRAM soles. So there is nothing distinctive here about the sole construction of this boot and any point in comparing to other therm...

Re: Light & agile tele: SB with the new transnordic leather?

I appreciate what you say Bgreg, but due to the above, I can't help to think they must be working well with a switchback? From experience, Lundhags are masters of their craft - famously making boots for special forces in the Nordics - and surely must know what they are doing here? I'm also encourag...

Re: Light & agile tele: SB with the new transnordic leather?

@TheMusher Does your Lundhags Expedition 75 have a 3pin duckbill? Some versions of this boot do not have the NN 3pin holes and can only be used with a cable binding... Sorry just saw your reply/question without reading the thread. The Lundhags Expedition 75 was intented to be used solely with cable...

Re: Alfa FREE A/P/S GTX XPLORE Boot Reviews

The toe bend crease is much further forward on the Free's than on my other Alfa boots. Hi Tom. From my extensive experience with BC and XCD boots, the forward toe bend issue you have here is certainly largely due to the fact you sized up. Comparisons with your 42s in other models will always have t...

Re: 2019 ALFA Guard Advance GTX M Boots Review

Here's something: I suggest against coming up with sizing theories based on Rottefella sole size or foot bed length. Although close, these do not line up perfectly with recommend foot size. Each boot design is different, based on its on mold, and is a combination of a different amount of layers that...
