Re: Åsnes Rabb….nylon skin or klister?
I have the 58 nylon kicker and rabb 68. I used this combo with a pull behind sled on pretty steep packed trails. Worked great in icey to warmed up spring snow. No complaints for that application. They also work great on any set skin track, even up to 25 degrees. During the colder part of winter the ...

Re: FS: Scarpa F1 size 29
Hi. Do these fit like scarpa t2x or old t1. I fit those in 29, but it’s pretty tight. Tx.

Re: Tele --> AT
Get any cheap 2 or 3 buckle plastic. Will be great with those 78s. I skied the old Kathi guide (same ski) for years with excursions and T1s. The t1s sucked for touring but could handle crappy snow. I taught both my young kids to ski with the guide/t1s at the resort. Great to have uphill freedom. The...

Re: Tele --> AT
P-turns on tele gear is totally natural and most of my turns (either on full heavy tele gear or BC gear). Unless its powder or steep or both, I don't drop the knee. For mellow terrain and powder though, you will want a fat ski. Plus 90-95mm at waist should work. Unless you gain a bit of speed, p-tur...

Re: Åsnes NOSI 76 Ski Review
Hey. I posted info on my Rabb mount a few years ago. My Rabb's are 188, karhus are 185, rossi 90's are 189. Here is what I wrote: Here are some pics comparing my other xcd skis. Again I mounted pins 2 cm forward of balance point due to my large boots. All my mounts in last 10 years are on touring te...

Re: Old 2-buckle t2 as a step up from excursion?
Hey all. Checking back. When skiing and lost the opportunity to by the T2 2-buckel! Hope this thread is useful to somebody. On the xcD skis. Agree. I thought my old Karhu guides were great until I got them out of soft snow. Still used them for 15 years. Recently bought some Rabb 68s and they are coo...

Re: Old 2-buckle t2 as a step up from excursion?
From right to left: t2 eco, excursion, t2 terminator, t4 Various sizes between 10 and 11 usa Excursions and terminators have their liners swapped 20250111_184116.jpg Great comparison photo! I think the T2 with my garmont liner (full size, not excursion) maybe the sweet spot. How do you like the old...

Re: Old 2-buckle t2 as a step up from excursion?
Yup. I am liking at the two buckle t2 in blue. Could be great with the right liner. They appear (but could be totally off) to be a touch shorter than 3 buckle versions yet taller than a t3.
