Re: which fjellski?

Gareth, Waxable, definitely. However, waxing became more difficult here as winter temperatures rose. Last years, it ralely dropped below -10C. In spring, kick waxing is a nightmare, I hope short skins will do. Amundsen, I think, will be too stiff. After all, some turnability is necessary, for those...

Re: which fjellski?

Where I live we have glacially deposited sand and gravel hills. Nothing like the mountains you ski. However our hills can be steep, even though they are short. Back in my resort skiing days my friends and I skied hard all winter in Michigan, and were not in the least intimidated by western terrain t...

Re: Scarpa M Pro Tour liner in 2009/10 T1?

I am adding this as both a question and a possible solution. My understanding is the folks over at Intuition are a reliable resource. If I remember correctly, they offer good fitting solutions utilizing their liners. At least I hope they still do! I never had a moldable liner, it’s on my bucket list...

Re: Wildly speculative talk about Asnes 21-22 lineup: Otto/FT62

lilcliffy Gareth if you prove light for Otto, my 190 lbs might be more to his liking. Go ahead and soften him up this season and if you downsize for next season maybe I can help you out ;) Good luck, I really hope it works out for you. I need more snow, I have enough skis! Red or black flexors for ...

Thanks Mr Woodserson. I like the looks of the green a bit better. I’m hoping to take my blue pair for a spin soon!

Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!

Happy Thanksgiving to you Krummholz! That sure looked awesome! Just curious do your Europa have aluminum edges? I have a pair that I think are even older, just trying to get a clue how old.
Sure does look like a great way to spend some time!

Re: 2019 ALFA Guard Advance GTX M Boots Review

YES- that is my limited experience- at least in terms of footbed length. My friend has a large volume foot (size 46 in length)- he might need to size up in a Crispi/Alpina because of boot volume (not length)- he is fine in his size 46 Alfa (i.e. same footbed length but larger volume). Guards run a ...

Re: Scarpa TX

I already have the TX Pro in 30, which some people seem to dislike for touring, which I would be using it for. I wasn’t willing to sit on my hands, hoping a TX in 30 would show up in time for this year, but maybe I should have been more patient. I’m tempted by this one on eBay. Downside is shipping...

Re: Scarpa TX

That is a TX, I believe. I read good reviews of the TX, which was discontinued.
