I've never tried them either, but I rather suspect Le P'tit Cliff will be along in a minute to recommend Combat NATO as well.
Well Master of Musk! I might recommend the Combat Nato...I love this ski- but I won't recommend it until we get more info from Larshaha. :ugeek:

Re: Ski recommendation

Hi all, my first post here, been reading a lot on this forum the last days as Ive been looking into getting my own telemark gear. I do have quite a lot of experience with telemark, am an avid cross country skiier and also do ski touring. My family has a cabin which is in the Norwegian mountains (Ro...

Re: 75mm or Tech for waxless?

I haven’t yet tried to ski just at pins downhill yet, but soon. I’m about to put AT bindings on some waxless ingstads, F1 race boots, no tts. So I don’t have useful feedback yet. So- you mean a tech toe- Telemark boot with tech inserts- and no resistance of any kind (i.e. cable, flexor, etc.)? For ...

Re: Crusty

For the last week or so we've had breakable crust in my area. Its mostly consolidating now, so its becoming a non-issue. I'm guessing that skiing breakable crust is always going to be a fairly miserable experience, but I'm wondering if anyone has a ski that makes it a little less terrible. My thoug...

Re: New Asnes WL Waxless Skis 2018-2019 Ingstad WL & Nansen WL

jyw5 Hey man! Good to hear from you! I think you need a report and perspective from someone that has rigourously downhill-skied both the Nansen/Cecile and the Ingstad. Woodserson Woods might be your man. We have had some reports on this site- as well as UTE Magazine's test- that would suggest to me...

Re: What is an "old school telemark ski"- a thread for the real nerds...

Yes! For me a long, narrow, round-flexing, low-cambered (and not rockered) ski with a traditional tip like the Nansen- is the quintessential example of an "old-school" Telemark ski. (I still don't understand why anyone would call a longitudinally-stiff, cambered, XC-focused ski a "Telemark" ski tho...

Re: What is the best replacement ski for the Karhu 10th Mtn or Madshus Epoch?

crb Hello and Welcome! As a few have pointed out- it doesn't look like the Epoch/Annum have disapeared- the question is whether the 2021-2022 models are identical to the old Epoch/XC10th Mtn and Annum/XCD Guide, or whether they have the redesigned contruction and geometry of the 2019-2021 M68... Al...

Re: What is the best replacement ski for the Karhu 10th Mtn or Madshus Epoch?

Rodbelan Very cool that you are loving the M62 ski! Do we have confirmation that the 2021-20211 M62/68/78 will be consistent with the ski you bought? I get the impression from the Aventure Nordique site that the 2021-2022 models will be identical to the old Eon/Epoch/Annum (which were identical to ...
