Forward Lean: Scarpa TX Comp vs. T1?
Re: Forward Lean: Scarpa TX Comp vs. T1?
Hey, dnt.
Thanks for the explanation. I also had looked up the various boots after scratching my head over that chart and ultimately came to similar conclusions. Of course, trying boots on is the ultimate test, but I don't have access to all those boots locally. So, all of your guys' thoughts have been really helpful.
Much appreciated, all.

Pretty sure on the scarpas that you can pull the bar and drill an additional/new hole to allow a more upright lean position.

I have older T1's (black and silver 3 buckle) and they have two positions of forward lean adjustment. Flip the lever down and lean forward and they lock in the most aggressive position. Flip the lever down and lean back and they lock in the more upward position. Current Scarpa's don't do this? Because the "range" they are showing seems indicative of two positions.
Personally I love lots of forward lean. Sounds like I should get some new T1's.
