Proper Boot Fit in Binding

Post by WireNut » Sat Jan 16, 2016 9:29 am

Morning all.
I have a son who is very new to Tele Skiing. We purchased very slightly used skis and binding from a resort at the end of the season last year and then purchased boots when we got home. Seems to me the Scott boots duckbill slid all the way into the Targa G3 toe bar. These Scarpa T4's do not seem to do this. Is this a problem? Should I shave the duckbill down a little or is this ok? Any help is appreciated.

As long as there is no angular side to side wiggle, I don't see that there would be a problem. By angular side to side, I mean lateral heel movement with the duckbill completely seated.
