How skinny is skinny for the Abrams race

NEK TELEBOYs plan to come to Abrams tomorrow.
I have a question for the old timer race.
How skinny is skinny, and how old is old?
I will, of course, be using leather boots and pins, but do my 10 year old Tua Razors count as skinny (9.2 cm tip)?
It appears I can use cables, which I may do if it is icy.
I assume the race is up and down, are skins allowed ( if you recall my last race, I was last up the hill without them)?
