I need a new spring to my 7tm power
I need a new spring to my 7tm power
Hi all
Yesterday I was checking my skis. Found out that the spring to my 7tm power binding was broken.
I have spent many hours on google looking for a place where I can buy a new one.
Does anybody here now a place that sells that spring anymore?
Regards

You might also try posting this on the "earn your turns" forum site as well (http://www.backcountrytalk.earnyourturn ... -amp-Grill). A lot of the old T-tips folks are there, and it seemed like this binding has a long history among many of the folks that frequent that list.
good luck with your search!
cheers!

No success so far.
I have problem finding a die spring with inner diameter 11.5 mm.
Standard seems to be 10 mm.
Thinking about drilling that 1.5 mm by myself.
Telemark is not supposed to be easy

Hmmm - I don't think drilling the ID of a spring will work.
2 reasons. Spring is most likely hard - you'll ruin your drill bit trying. Also, most likely, the spring will break within a few cycles if you machine it, if there is some case, and your bit is hard enough to remove it, you'll reduce its fatigue strength, but likely if you do get through it, you'll just introduce a stress riser.

yepp..thats right. Drilling up that 1.5 mm will probably just take time with no good result.
My search for the holy spring will continue.
