I'm hearing about this a lot. I guess the silver lining is there will be a lot of used available next year when folks realize its not as easy as it looks.

so basically the XC racing setups I have in the barn from the 80's are probably worth $1500 per set now? not only are they state of the art 80's technology, they would be authentic "barn finds" which should command a premium. vintage chic, right?

Learning basic k+g in groomed tracks is pretty easy. It's even easier to shuffle around the woods if you have the right gear

I saw this news invoked in your other thread, Bob, and thought of this same newsfeed. And I thought of a friend who could find no XC skis last year at Bear Valley or Berkeley REI. And now the COVID rush.

But...I strongly suspect the rush to buy ski wax has zero correlation.
