Given the financial shenanigans/repression, interest rates were manipulated so low that money mkt funds were paying next to nothing during this span. You could have gotten at least some yield with FedNOW the past year or so but that's after 8 years of nothing (I think JPM was giving 0.1%).
As for the girls, true, but that's a shame. And it's always been the case, but not to this degree. But maybe I am a crotchety old man at 42 with morals, and an anachronism.
