Recently, I also know the crown prince of Norway skied & snow-kited across the Greenland with AT boots and bindings.

That is a really beautiful piece Musher! Can we imagine the US' fearless former leader, Trump, on such an expedition?
He did at one point seriously suggest that the United States should purchase Greenland:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/ ... -greenland

Didn't go down too well - neither with the Danes nor with the Greenlanders themselves.
The natives would be glad to "welcome" him. Lots of crevasses up there on the ice cap. Anything can happen.
This was not Trump's idea but rather came from the Security Council who have periodically revisited the idea over the last 20 years or so during the administrations of Bush, Obama, and Trump and originates in the Intelligence Community. There's a reason this stays on the radar though I have little love and even less respect for the IC that drives it. One can love Rome and not love the Praetorians.

I did enjoy the Greenland photo essay so thanks, @TheMusher. I thought this was text imbedded in a video which wouldn't work with Translate. Glad you prompted me to give it a try.

If you want to be on the safe side, I believe the Combat NATO ski has internal reinforcement for binding attachment and as such is probably an even better option for AT bindings - if it's not too late. Correct me if I'm wrong.
That was my top choice but I can't find them for sale anywhere, and was unwilling to pay 520€ plus shipping to get them - if anyone has a pair in 200-210 I'd love to buy them!

Once you find the right boot, you may find this interesting- viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1407&p=47934&hilit=Anrothar#p47934
There is a guy on the earn your turns forum who did this to a pair of Garmont AT boots covered the bellows with electrical tape and has 150 days on them without problems.

I’ve prototyped a bumper for a Trab toe similar to the explore Xplore system. Idea is to make it on/off with a pole. But that’s as far is I’ve gotten, not really ready to share yet.
I was looking at trying to get the Scarpa F1 with the bellows but those are really hard to come by as well - @captainswallowtail is super knowledgeable about this type of odd application, but it would be nice to not have to fully deconstruct an AT boot to get a little more toe flex.. I'm super interested in your bumper idea for a Trab toe - I was trying to think of some rubber band system under the boot like the Salomon pilot skate bindings to help bring the ski back up for better skating, but a removable toe bumper would likely be a much more elegant solution.

Oops, Bumper is on Voile Snowboard AT toe. I’m going to spend a little time on it soon, before sharing pics.

On the Backside Bar and Gill, (Earn your turns forum) there is an F3/F1 watch list where people post sightings of boots for sale.

I saw those but they are the "USGI" crap skis -https://colemans.com/u-s-g-i-cross-coun ... kis-2-pair which retail for $30 and not the Asnes Combat NATO ski which has a very different layup and has the xskin tabs https://us.nordiclife.co.uk/products/as ... utm_term=b

I hope no one pays for those and gets scammed
