One man’s riches…
… is another man’s poverty.
My ski club posted this earlier in the week.
What struck me, other than the paucity of snow this year, was the immense variability of snowfall in one of the colder capitals of the world. Variability is one of the things we deal with as skiers but don’t worry too much about until the base goes away completely.
Fortunately, we received about a foot of snow over the past 48 hrs here, so it’s now “game on”. Not like out west (particularly west-central US), but good enough to hit the trails tomorrow.

We dreamed of riding waves of air, water, snow, and energy for centuries. When the conditions were right, the things we needed to achieve this came into being. Every idea man has ever had up to that point about time and space were changed. And it keeps on changing whenever we dream. Bio mechanical jazz, man.
