Ski Binding Placement?

So G3 Targas will fit the holes 9, 11 and 12. The Fischers (11) match the Pozi "wood" screws though the heel riser holes are too wide (might add a hole at end depending on boot's heel), whereas 9 and 12 (Instinx and Workstinx) line up but have threaded inserts so I'll need different screws for them.

For the unused holes, I'm thinking just use some RTV to seal them. Other ideas? I'll have to trim down some volcanoes from the PO first.

For the others I found holes were wider apart at 32mm or 40mm, roughly. Any idea what bindings use that? Then there are "triangle" hole patterns to figure out too.

Important to note that using the inserts on the K2's requires a specific bolt, rather than a screw. Might take a bit of searching to find some, but it should be do-able.

Based on some quick tests to confirm eyeball, I think they're M5 with 0.8 pitch. I've pulled a Targa screw to match the head and length and a random screw that matches the size+thread to screw in enough (it might be an 10-32 that I'm using, which will be close enough to match at store with metric).

EDIT: They are M5 x 16mm, 0.8 ; do NOT use 10-32.

I'm also going to try out these Targas on the existing holes of the Fisher (OEM Pozi wood screws) and the Blue/yellow Instinx (via threaded inserts) which I may plug the drilled holes on. Both of those have "volcano" holes so I might clamp to press them down first on the Instinx and shave or countersink the others ever so slightly so they're flush.

Overall, not a bad look nor color scheme, if I do say so. The rear set of four was nearly inline for Cord/Pin Line of ski to recommended alignment by G3 for Targas. I doubt a few mm will make a difference for my recreational purposes.

Got 'em out on back trails this afternoon-evening. Got be-nighted sans headlamp and took longer because I wasn't getting much glide on gentle stuff so it ended up being more like slow shuffling. Should've brought some liquid wax. Might hit a resort tomorrow for a better idea.

They're a lot of ski for touring, I think they weighed around 9 pounds a pair. That mass contributed to them being good crud busters, and solid on hardpack. They carried speed well. I liked 'em in powder, too.
I think the Instinx were the women's version of the Work's; a little lighter and maybe a little softer flex.

I picked up a pair of these recently with Targa Ascent bindings. I agree that they are a bit heavy on the tour. For turns though, what fun! Had them out on some aged powder today. Looking forward to running them at the resort this week.

Earlier I got them out on backcountry trails. Glide on Karhu Kodiaks was better. ...

Today had them at the resort and found the lace up Merril leathers are too soft to make them edge effectively, as in a hockey stop was more like bad side slipping and I couldn't make the edges bite enough side step back up the hill to grab my pole. They're just too wide compared to the Karhus which I did a couple long lift runs on including blues.

Also, I'm not getting any telemark stance out of the Karhus. I can split legs for form when "walking" and get the heel up, but downhill I'm basically skiing them ala alpine with "rwal flexy boots" and varios comments by others on slopes and lifts including tele skiers (plastic boots). One on the lift even said "Please tell me those Merrils under your gaiters are Super Comps..." Nope. He said that's one way to make it hard on yourself, "but as long as you're having fun..."
