Where do you mount for a balance between touring and turns? Does the NNN pivot become the new 'pin line'?

The NNN pin goes at the balance point for the ski. Adjust from there for personal preference. I have a paper jig I could try to scan for you.

I would not hesitate to go forward, up to chord center, if you are looking for better control on the down. The NNN pin line = 3 pin line by the book. In practice though, I wouldn't be surprised if the NNN pin line acts as if it is actually further back than the 3 pin line considering its placement on the boot. PS: I have an NNN BC binding pin on balance point on some Asnes Admunsen skis right now and am struggling with them anywhere other than the flats, I plan on moving them up 2 cm or so, chord center being 3-4 cm beyond balance point in this case.
I live for the Telemark arc....The feeeeeeel.....I ski miles to get to a place where there is guaranteed snow to do the deal....TM

No need for the scan Woodserson - I'm going to have the shop do it because they have the jig and it's not all that expensive. Thanks anyway.

I was thinking of mounting my Eons at chord vs balance - the other two pairs of skinnier skis I have are mounted at balance.

I was thinking the same thing as well Ben... seems to me the NNN pivot is about a cm or so back from a pin line.
