Here is a link to the new catalog. Details on the new boot.

Also, looks like the T1 and TX Comp didn't make the cut.

That link seems to be dead, at least all i get is a message saying "Sorry, this page doesn't exist".

Did anybody download the catalogue or took a screenshot of the page and could perhaps share it?

Anyway, interesting news!

Hmm yeah all the links are dead. I'm betting somebody messed up and put the catalog online too early... ISPO is next week so I bet that is the real release.

There was an upgraded 4 buckle boot too a few pages down. Think it was just new colors

Hear! Hear!

I saw a Facebook post https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=101 ... 6553840755 from a guy (AM, below) who claimed to be a tester for this new TX Pro design. Transcript of thread below:

AM: "I tested the prototype 2 years ago. It's very light and stiffer than TX Comp. walk mode is great. That's great!"
MU: "Stiffer how? Sideways and torsion or bellows flex?"
AM: "everything is more rigid. a bit like the Crispi but much lighter. in the 2024 catalog the TX comp has disappeared."
MU: "too bad. I just do not see the point of rigid toe flex in a tele boot."
AM: "high speed control! !!"
MU: "has zero to do with toe flex"
AM: "OK!! remove the bellows and you will understand speed control"
MU: "I learned to telemark in low leathers. Speed control is about torsion and lateral stiffness. Not toe flex. And you can always make stiffen a soft flex with the binding but you cannot get a stiff boot soft."

(and so on...)

Seems like Scarpa made a Crispi Shiver but lighter. Oh well. That's not what I wanted to hear.

I briefly owned a pair of Crispi XP (Pretty much the 75mm version of the Shiver). Very stiff bellows, but a fairly low cuff. The combination means you have to put more effort into your telemark to get the bellows to break. It's all about MORE POWER, but I still prefer a more neutral binding/ski interface. I'm really uncomfortable in a telemark rig that's too stiff (tall, stiff boots w/ stiff-flexing active bindings). For high speed alpine turns and more fun on hardpacked resort nastiness, I'm investing in a 50/50 alpine touring/resort rig (Dynafit Radical boots, Shift bindings on my old Cham 97 skis). I don't want nor do I need a 100% resort/freeride telemark setup. I want a flexible, light but reasonably powerful telemark rig for hunting NY/New England powder in the forest, and spring skiing on the ADK slides or up in the Whites.

I don't think that's what Scarpa is aiming at, not at all.
And I don't think Xplore is going to serve that either.

Am I really that weird? :D

I don’t think the prototype from 2 years ago is this boot. Various people from a few years ago indicated that the flex was all wrong on that prototype. Yes, that boot was much closer to the weight we all were hoping for, but apparently it didn’t ski well. More recent whispers about what likely made production say things more like “it skis great, a little heavier than is ideal”.

I also wanted a much lighter, maybe even lower cuffed boot. It didn’t need to be full F1LT weight (especially because part of the weight savings for that boot is making it very narrow) but the new TXP is heavier than every AT touring boot scarpa makes. It seems clear to me this is intended to be a one-boot-quiver solution for everyone from light tourers to lift service crushers… and I really wanted a dedicated touring boot.

All that said—it still will probably be the best skiing and touring boot on the market when it’s released.

No, you’re right the catalog did drop today. It’s just appearing in all the old threads since we have 8 years of speculation to work from…
Where do you find the catalog?
(I'm in Belgium)

Only found the 23/24 catalog here:

Well, it *was* up but for less than a day. Someone jumped the gun. It’s now only available in pieces of screen shots floating around.

Saw this today...

New TXPro.jpg

It's not in the catalog so maybe it's just wishful thinking but there's little point in baiting such a small group of radicals. Maybe they just dropped the TXPro and renamed the T2 Eco...
Hmmm, don't get it, it disappeared online. But wasn't this photo a paper catalog?
