Well on the way to "Stick season". Leaves falling cool weather, some frost here and there. Keep hearing snow but will see. TM

1+- inches here in the Adks.
Sons of beeches are golden this year.
Loons are gone; geese too. Turkeys in the back yard; many-many ruffed grouse (pahrtridge)

Trock that is a great spot over there. I missed the snow here being busy getting the jeep back in shape. Destroyed the back window and twisted the back door when I tried to get it unstuck with the tractor. Damn bucket did a number on the car. Just me........being stupit and paying the price. TM

Three inches of wet snow which allowed for some easy turns in October. Like that!. Wonder if Teleking shot some over at his house. Suspect he did. Yeah. Telekid might have done some too. Will see! TM

Really nice sun rise this morning. Other day while watching Boots long drive bounding along an undulating fairway a dark shadow flew over the trees behind us and swooped down and followed the contours and "beaked the ball" and the black apparition flew off with a golf ball in its mouth. Man, it's great to see that stuff. TM

Hey Teleman,
I know you don’t post photos (like I’m one to talk!) I was on the other site, and I found this link to pages of Northeast Kingdom Tele Boys photos. Just so people will see just what you can do on E-99’s!
Hope you enjoy them:

Thanks, Fisheater! I like taking pictures but setting them up on a site is a nonstarter. TM

Oh... :( so we're not the only ones then waiting for real winter to kick in... Even in the Alps there is not much snow yet and only quite high up. Here in the Bohemian Forest we've had a couple of dustings, for me not skiable yet. We'll see how it goes. Just over a week ago there was a very short snow period on the North side of the Alps: people were skiing & snowboarding right in the middle of Bern and even Basel, snow gone after a day. We had one of those dustings then, not more than 5-10cm at 1000m above sea. Fingers crossed for good snow soon for all of us!

last couple of days been skiing my back yard with @ 4 inches. Didn't even get any grass leavings which shows how heavy the snow is. Felt great making those rounded turns. Sunday hunting ends and off we go to the highlands. TM
