Sbounds...leathers
Re: Sbounds...leathers
Decent low angle 6-7 inches of heavy on the bottom and light on the top powder. Good for conditioning. Will hit the Highlands for some easy logging road skiing with 4-5 hundred verts. Good start. TM
Re: Sbounds...leathers
Headed up to the Highlands and headed South and broke out to Dead Moose Pond. generally there was a foot of really good snow. Had about 10 inches of blue on with a longer section of green. Woulda coulda and shoulda wiped it off but who cares when breaking. Quiet out there and Dead Moose Pond is covered with ice which I didn't test. Will return soon and on the other side of the Gap someone (teleking) had been up that way. Will head there tomorrow and see what is happening out there. 12 INCHES! TM

Shoot Teleman, when I read Dead Moose Pond, I was figuring Teleman got wet again this year. Good to hear you got nice snow.
Re: Sbounds...leathers
14 inches with every branch and limb holding @ 6-8 inches. White world with lite powder on top and heavier stuff down below. Great stuff! My trip was a mile in on a very easy main logging road. Saw telekings track and he went up on a ridge and scored some wonderful turns even if I didn't see them. I know! The 205's really toured beautifully and were fast on the low angle down. Scored some decent really decent long arcs. Today will repeat or may go to Teleknob. If I repeat will bring out my 215 99's and see what they can do. If I go to Teleknob then the Rebounds will do nicely. Fish, just a couple hundred verts of seriously steep, or moderate with wide open Hardwoods'. Choices this early in the season, jeebers! TM
Re: Sbounds...leathers
The 215 99's were slower than the 205's. Course the 15-20 year old wax might have something to do with it. Still they did good on the low angle stuff I'm skiing and having a blast from the past on those 99's. The 205's are very fast and slice anything making for wonderful feeling long arcs. Will have to hit the powder in the forest soon but running those 99's is so much fun. TM
Re: Sbounds...leathers
Boys are heading up Little Mountain for @ thousand verts of decent powder. I'm heading to the Highlands where I expect to find 20+ inches of powder. Will take the 205's 99's and see what they do. Might need the 215's but without a doubt will have some fun on the moderate terrain. Hardwoods are going to be creaking and really cold. TM

T-man: sorry to see you will be getting some serious rain tonight. Hope it doesn’t flood like last year. Forecast suggests snow afterwards,,,,on a crust I expect. Better make some tracks today while you can.
PS: check your phone texts sometime. One of the boys can show you how to do that.

Re: Sbounds...leathers
Phonetex, huh? Lot less snow outside. Will head up to Highlands after yesterday's TM rain. Expect the 20-30 inches to be cut at least in half. Skiing, probably crust and a bit of powder on top. Might take the Rebounds up for that. Or the 109's.
Re: Sbounds...leathers
Bout what I expected. Still have a decent base and the snow after the rain is holding pretty well. With about a foot everywhere that can be built on if this warm time moves on. TM
Re: Sbounds...leathers
Snow is heavy down under and lots of powder on top. Will ski around my house today and hit the BC in a couple. Highlands are calling. Hope some skiers ski my up trail and delight in the BC. Most leave the down in other places for me, or Telekid, Teleking or Ben a writer who loves kicking around in the bush. TM
