Crispi Bre and Voile 3-pin telemark not compatible?

This is no isolated case.

Most of my skis are set up with Voile HD Mountaineers / Traverse and my go-to boots is a pair of Crispi Bre.

The Bres have about 1.5 season's worth of wear (~70 outings).

I have a feeling that the metal plate inside the boot got worn out which in turn wears out the pins.

I will get in touch with Voile and Crispi to get their opinion on the matter.

I finally had a chance just recently to clip my Bre into Voile 3p w/cable. On notch 2 there was far, far too much play, and I could not go one notch further. I elected to use Alico Ski March on that particular ski/binding and will not risk speedy damage to the Bre that would come as a result of such a mismatch. Terrible that this is the reality even after 100 years of these bindings and boots.

If the Bre's were way too loose on the second click, it's surprising that they would then be too tight on the third. But, such is the nature of inconsistencies among 75 mm soles, and bindings as well to aa lesser degree. Have a mismatch or two amongst my quiver also, and have had more in the past.
