Diligently watching the classifieds (Facebook MP, Craigslist, tele forums, eBay, etc...) might well turn up your current boot in better condition. I've found two pairs of Scarpa F1 greenies in the last two years. One pair brand new! They haven't made them in years but they are still out there. I got both sets for less than half what I'd pay for a new set of just about anything. I ski them on Transit bindings which are 10x more expensive than they should be. I guess I blew on bindings what I saved on boots.Gatvol wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 7:49 pmWhat would be a good replacement?JohnSKepler wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 11:03 amMy guess would be the only approach that might have any benefit would be some kind of chemical treatment but my gut says they are probably just at end of life.

You might be hooked! Have fun!!Gatvol wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 3:14 pmGoing in March. And we actually are skiing Bridger Bowl one day.randoskier wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 12:09 pmNext time you are in Montana you should hit Bridger Bowl, nicest lit serviced skiing in the state and the vibe is much more laid back than the Vail-Associates vibe at BS. Re Lodge is top too!
